Well, there really is no reason for this entry other than to hear the banging of the keys and to show a crummy picture I took last night during a storm.  So I am laying in bed reading and the lightshow starts outside without the pouring rain.  So what do I do?  Tired and ready for sleep, I go turn the light off and close my eyes right?  Wrong....I get up grab my camera and go sit outside hoping for that wonderful shot of the bolt of lightning that you always see on the internet.   Did I get it?  Absolutely not.  Oh well.  It was however quite a decent show and I got a couple shots that kind of make you go Hmmmmmm.  I have said in the past that I have no real right operating a camera because I have no idea what I am doing, and last night it showed (yet again).  So here I am thinking that if I adjust my F-Stop this and my F-stop that then surely I should be able to get a good quality shot.  NOPE!!!!  As always, I am the exception to almost every rule.  I am lucky I can spell F-stop, let alone know what it is and how to adjust it to compensate for some condition....or shutter speed or anything else...not gonna happen I say.  Some day I will make the effort to learn a setting other than "POINT-N-SHOOT".  Anyways, that is all....the picture here was taken at around 11:00pm in what was actually almost pitch balck.  I wish some of the better shots had been in better focus...oh well.
