In an earlier post I mentioned that it frustrated me just how easy we make it to walk away from one's commitments. This time around I am referencing FINANCIAL commitments.

Specifically, the statement that is chaffing my hide is the 12th paragraph in the attached (above linked) CNN article. This just gets me fuming that people can do this as easily as we can, and those of us with pride and a conscience, tough it out and suffer through it all. I feel bad for people that got themselves into this position and quite frankly, think that most of the blame falls on the financial institutions for giving away money WAAAAYYYYY too easily. But GET REAL people. It is people like this that make me pay higher everything....this money comes from somewhere right? It comes from the SAPS that actually live up to their obligations.....we get stuck paying more in interest or whatever to return this money. Silly me...I suppose that is what I get for trying to do the right thing.
