OK, so I should not be in a position where I need to put this post up, however the world we live in requires it.  For a true techno-geek, it would not be an issue.  For me it is.  Everything you do nowadays requires you to have a Username and  Password.  Well I am right now struggling with someone because I set-up an account 9 months ago and do not recall my information.  Most sites have this covered because they have various ways of getting you that information.  Not this particular site.  You have to have that information or you are in trouble.  Well, I am hoping that it will be reolved in less than a week however it is not looking too promising.  I say it is ridiculous....any site that has you create a unique username/password should have a way for you to get the username and anotherway for you to get the passowrd.  Well I think that maybe sites on the Interweb should begin "Engineering" their sites for dummies (like me).  The scary thing is I CAN program the VCR.  I am not incompetent with technology but everything you do at home and at work has unique usernames and passwords....short of writing them all down and carrying it with you (does not do much for security), I feel I have done well to get this far without crashing to a halt like I am now.  I do think though, that everything should cater to the assumption that people need a way to get their username, and a different way to get the password.  Well, I am going to end this and go try to figure it out rather than wait for the site to respond.
